| The rattle was inspired by paintings of royal families where the new heir is holding a small, beautiful scepter. My work was created to be used in family photos for those who consider their own children to be precious princes and princesses. The work features sterling and fine silver, cloisonné wire, transparent and opaque enamels. Tiny bells and beads are strung inside the rattle. It is a functional rattle, but it is more of a family heirloom than an everyday toy. |
